1a. National Caucus Meeting to approve all Strategic Operations, National and Zonal Officers of NIM - Tuesday, 9th January, 2019

b. Press Interaction - Wednesday, 17th January 2018 

2. Zonal Consultative Meetings to initiate States Assemblies to be hosted by Zonal Facilitators of NIM in the 6 geo political zones of Nigeria - 3rd week of January 2018

3. Nominations of 36 states Facilitators by the Zonal Facilitators/ State Consultative Meetings to be hosted by State Facilitators - 3rd week of January, 2018 

4. Nominations & Inauguration of States Protem Officers of NIM to be supervised by Zonal Facilitators/National Secretariat - 4th week of January 2018

5. Inauguration of zonal Coordinating Meeting and the nomination/elections of Zonal Chair and Secretary - 1st week of February 2018

6. Formal Opening of the National Secretariat in Abuja and the Lagos Annex of NIM respectively- Monday and Wednesday of the 2nd week of February 2018 respectively 

7. Opening of all State Secretariats & Branches of NIM in the 36 states of the Federation and FCT - Between 2nd & 3rd week of February 2018 to be initiated by the Zonal Chair and Secretary and supervised by the National Secretariat

8. Adoption of NIM Manifesto and Constitution by the General Assembly of NIM at a national political summit/Formal Launch of NIM in Abuja - 4th week of February 2018

9. Acclamation of the Manifesto and Constitution of NIM by state General Assembly and nomination of LGA Facilitators at a Special State Town Hall meetings - 1st week of March 2018

10. Special Fundraising Ceremony and World Press Conference to announce the Guidelines of Congresses for nominations and elections into NIM's Executive offices at all levels - 2nd week of March 2018

11. Solidarity Rallies and canvassing in all Wards & Polling Units for NIM's 2019 agenda and Voters mobilisation for 2019 elections and National day of Mass Action against the political status quo - 2nd week of March 2018

12. Setting up of NIM's Congress electoral & Appeal committees for all level of Nominations/elections by the steering committee - 2nd week of March, 2018

13. Ward & Polling units Congresses for nominations and elections of Wards and Polling zones Exco as stipulated by NIM's Constitution and Congress Guidelines - 3rd Week of March 2018

14. Local Government Areas Congresses for the Nominations and elections of LGA Exco as stipulated by NIM's Constitution and Congress guidelines - 4th week of March 2018

15.State Congresses for the nomination/elections of state Exco of NIM as stipulated - 1st week of April 2018

16. National Convention for Nominations / elections into NIM's National Executive Council and Board of Trustees in Abuja - 2nd week of April 2018

17. Hearing & Ruling on Elections petitions and appeals by the Appeal committees at all levels - Between 3rd and 4th week of April 2018

18. Inauguration of a special Committee for Electoral alliance and Merger and its Consultations - 1st and 2nd week of May 2018

19. World Press Conference and Inauguration of adopted power platform for 2019 elections - 3rd week of May 2018

20. Setting up of National Convention and State Congress electoral & appeal committees for primary elections at all levels for NIM's Candidates in the 2019 elections - 4th week of May 2018

21. Release, Procurement and Submission of Nomination forms for NIM's Candidacy at various levels of offices in the 2019 elections - 1st and 2nd week of June 2018

22. State Congresses to nominate and elect state/national legislators and Governors - 3rd week of June 2018 

23. Hearing & Ruling over State congresses by the Appeal committees - 4th week of June 2018

24. National Convention to elect both the Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates of NIM and also to reaffirm the Manifesto and Constitution of NIM - 1st week of July 2018

25. Hearing & Ruling over all appeals - 2nd & 3rd week of July 2018

26. Inauguration of Committees for Harmonisation & Campaigns to ensure proper mobilisation, fusion, cohesion within NIM - 4th week of July 2018

27. Interface with INEC on nominations and substitution of candidates - the whole of August 2018

28. Massive Campaigns, Rallies, Road shows, Polling units canvassing + door to door and mass media Mobilisation of all Nigerians towards the 2019 elections - the whole of the 3rd quarter of 2018: (September to December 2018)

NIM CONDEMNS ORDER OF ARREST ON PRINCE KASSIM AFEGBUA

The Nigeria Intervention Movement (NIM) a Pro democracy movement seeking to revolutionize the Nigerian political landscape by giving political power to new breed ideologically grounded successor Leaders by 2019 has condemned in strongest terms the intimidation and harassment of Prince Kassim Afegbua, an accomplished lawyer and spokesman of Former President General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, by the Nigerian Police over a statement he issued on behalf of the former Nigerian military leader. The Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, on Monday night declared Prince Afegbua wanted over the statement he issued on Sunday and subsequently ordered the arrest of Afegbua for allegedly “making false statements" defamation of character, and for an act capable of instigating public disturbance”.
